I always thought that the Red Fox was the largest predator in the Netherlands. But actually it's the European badger...

Interesting facts (Red Fox)

- Red foxes tend to be solitary, usually hunting alone.

- They can be active at any time of day, but appear to hunt most often during dawn and dusk. It is not unusual to observe foxes during daytime.

- They remain active all year and do not hibernate.
